THE WINE
Scheurebe is a crossing of Riesling and Bukettrebe that is well established in several German wine regions with growing popularity in the US. It is one of the popular aromatic varieties. Our Scheurebe is full-bodied, semi sweet with pronounced acidity and a bouquet and taste reminiscent of black currants, peach and ripe pear and apple.
FOOD PAIRING
Scheurebe pairs with almost any cuisine that has a sweet element to it, honey, molasses or sugar based sauces are likely a good compliment for this wine.
